FAQs
How long does a typical appointment take?
The length of an appointment varies depending on the service. These are outlined in the ‘Services’ section. I do not like to rush my clients so I reserve longer slots for a better treatment experience. Nail art will also take additional time.
How long will my nails last?
Gel nails usually last up to 2 weeks and Builder Gel nails will last up to 3 weeks, provided the correct aftercare has been adhered to.
Is ‘Builder Gel’ and ‘BIAB’ the same thing?
BIAB stands for Builder In A Bottle and is the trademarked name of a certain nail brand. Builder Gel is the universal name for the same type of product.
Do you use safe and sanitary practices?
Yes, I follow strict sanitation protocols. All tools are sterilised after each use, disposable items are used where necessary, and the workspace is thoroughly cleaned between clients.
What products do you use, and are they safe?
I use high-quality, professional-grade products that are safe and widely trusted in the industry. They are also HEMA free. HEMA is a chemical commonly used in nail products but can cause allergic reactions in some individuals, leading to redness, itching, or dermatitis.
What is your cancellation policy?
I kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations within this period will result in the booking fee being lost, and no-shows might be charged the full service amount. This helps me manage my schedule and accommodate other clients.
What if I cannot find a suitable appointment time?
Please message me. I also work in a Nursery during term time so I will do my very best to schedule you in. In addition, I will open up more appointments during holidays and half terms.
